Franz Gruben commenced his cooking career in Germany. After practical professional experience in leading Swiss hotels in St. Moritz / Ascona / Valais, he expanded his knowledge in the international field in Stockholm and at "Mosimanns" in London.

His hobby is still creative, innovative and interesting wholemeal and vegetarian cuisine, which meanwhile has established itself fully in the ALBANA-concept.

Besides attending seminars in technical and social fields, Franz Gruben is a successful master and instructor. In 2001, he attained the diploma "Gastronomy Manager" after completing the further educational gastronomy course. He continued his studies with this organisation and in 2002 was awarded the diplome as "Swiss Licensed Restaurant Manager". Please contact Franz Gruben directly for any questions.
